The Salami of Pozzolengo It is another traditional product of the Morainic Hills area, in the south area of Lake Garda.

Its taste is due to the environment such as mild winters and storage places (fresh basements made of brick walls and dirt floors, perfect for the maturation) of this area which contributed to giving its particular features.

Human factors are also fundamental for the production: traditional and ancient procedures, ingredients and tools are still used in farms, together with new technological methods.
